You CAN leave your fountains out in harsh weather without doing them damage · Concrete fountains may usually be left outside in severe freezing weather.
· Fiberglass fountains may be left outside for winter months.
· All light weight fountains can be moved indoors or you could cover them with appropriate material.
· Pumps must always be taken inside over the winter.
· Keep your fountain clear of all items that could clog it, i.e. leaves, twigs, small stones, bird droppings, etc.
· Did you know you can use denture cleaner to clean the fountain bowls – try a little on a copper dish, though, before doing the entire thing.
· Periodically, you may want to empty all the water, clean the surfaces and refill it, just to get off any dirt and grime that may have accumulated.
